I've read some great books in the last couple of months. They include Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, The Ice Queen by Alice Hoffman, and The Abortionist's Daughter by Elisabeth Hyde.
I will be posting reviews by the end of the week. I must note that I was impressed by what I read, particularly Never Let me Go and The Ice Queen. Both left me naked, sad, whisftul, and extremely verbose (I'm such a wiseass sometimes! - must be due to my lack of sleep).
By the way, I've been buying books like they've been going out of style. I have issues. I need help. I.............can't...........stop..........buying.........

So glad to see your updates! What have you bought? You must share :)
Yes, do tell what new books you bought!
Hey Amelia,
I suffer from the same affliction. We really need to go book shopping together. I REALLY have to introduce you to Bookman's b/c once you've gone you'll go back for more:)
WBS/Chat soon!
Heather:)
I have the same problem. I will not let myself go to the bookstore or the library. I got two giant bags of books from my mother, plus all the stuff on my shelves...
Isn't Never Let Me Go a chilling read?
Hi Jenclair - it definitely was a chilling read. I really have to post my review about this book because I have some questions that went unanswered. It was very realistic, which sort of freaked me out at the same time because you never know what our society will come up with next. Chilling is the perfect word for this book.
